Just wanted to say sorry if the crit feels a bit rushed. Big note watch your value separation. One thing that helps me is to always see your painting as a thumbnail I feel it helps me see the big picture. I can easily loose focus on my paintings when I start to noodle in the detail. Oh and with out a doubt Craig M is the best at seeing the big picture he also has great color ideas. It would probably help you a lot to start thinking in color. Look at Russian impressionism. Copy two to three impressionistic paintings a day and you will be on your way to using color more often in your work!
Hope it helps. I would rather get together and talk over your work it's easier for me to articulate my thought.
Jeff
